What is the Student Card?
Student Card is a deposit card. It works like a regular card — pay for purchases, transfer funds — and like a deposit — store money and earn interest. Additionally, you can get up to 37% cashback on purchases made with this card.
At what age can you open the Student Card?
The Student Card can be opened at the age of 14-17 inclusive.
Who can open the Student Card?
You can open the Student Card yourself if you are 16 to 17 years old and have an identity card or a residence permit of the Republic of Kazakhstan. If you are 14 or 15 years old, you can also apply for a card, but only with the consent of a parent or other legal representative (guardian, trustee or adoptive parent).
How to open the Student Card?
You can open a card at a Freedom Bank branch.
If you are 16 or 17 years old and have an identity card or residence permit of the Republic of Kazakhstan, you can apply for a card yourself in the Freedom SuperApp.
Important: Before issuing the Student Card, a parent must close the Power Card (children's card), if one has already been issued.
How to order a plastic card for a digital card?
1. On the main page, click on the Student Card;
2. In the Settings section, click on Order a plastic card;
3. Please provide a convenient address;
4. The card will be delivered to the specified address within a few business days.
How can I view the details of a digital Student Card?
Click on the card on the main page of the Freedom SuperApp application. You will see the Card Details section on the right. Click on it to see the card number, expiration date, CVV code, and account details.
How much does the Student Card cost?
The Student Card is issued for free.
There are no maintenance fees either.
How many Student Cards can be opened?
One person can open only one Student Card.

Is it possible to add a card to an electronic wallet on a phone?
Yes, the card can be added to Apple Wallet, Google Pay in the Freedom SuperApp mobile application.
Linking the card to Samsung Pay, Garmin Pay is possible through the Samsung Pay and Garmin Pay applications.
What can you spend cashback on?
You can spend cashback like regular money: pay for purchases, make transfers, conversions and payments, including paying for mobile communications, the Internet, topping up the balance of the Onay transport card and paying for other services.
Are there any prohibited Student Card transactions?
Yes, you cannot make 18+ purchases with a Student Card: in wine shops, tobacco and religious shops, pay for car rentals, etc.
How to withdraw money from a Student Card?
The Student Card holder can withdraw money from any ATM without commission up to 500,000 tenge per month if there is a plastic card. Or contactless via Apple Pay/Google Pay/Samsung Pay/Garmin Pay, if there is no plastic card.
