Freedom Bank has been named a winner in three categories at the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2026:

• Kazakhstan's Best Retail Bank
• Kazakhstan's Best Digital Bank for Consumers
• Kazakhstan's Best for Mortgages/Home Loans

The Euromoney Awards for Excellence are presented annually by Euromoney, giving recognition to the financial institutions that demonstrate outstanding performance, innovative decisions and client impact.

Freedom Bank is Kazakhstan's digital bank at the core of the Freedom ecosystem. It is part of the Freedom Holding Corp., an international financial services group that provides brokerage, investment banking, underwriting and banking services. In 2021, Freedom Bank became the first bank in Kazakhstan to launch a fully digital mortgage solution, enabling customers to complete the entire mortgage application process online without visiting a branch. Such innovation reduced mortgage approval and issuance times from two to three weeks to just a few days.

A cornerstone of the Freedom ecosystem is Freedom SuperApp, the bank's flagship mobile application, which integrates financial and lifestyle services into a single platform. The app provides access to banking, brokerage, insurance, ticket and travel bookings, food and grocery delivery, and a wide range of other digital services.

In addition to serving retail customers, Freedom Bank offers a comprehensive portfolio of financial products and services for businesses and large corporate clients.

It also continues to develop Freedom Business, a dedicated mobile application for SMEs. The platform features an integrated AI-powered voice assistant capable of executing more than 140 voice commands, while also giving the users complimentary access to all of the features of Chat GPT directly within the application.

The bank's rapid growth reflects the increasing adoption of its digital ecosystem. During the year of 2025, Freedom Bank's customer base has tripled, expanding from 1.4 million to 4.5 million customers. By the end of the first half of 2026, the number of Freedom SuperApp users has already exceeded 5.6 million.

In 2024 as a part of its ecosystem strategy, Freedom Bank introduced an innovative loyalty programme in 2024 that is unique in the Kazakhstan market. Instead of traditional cashback, customers receive rewards in the form of Freedom investment currency (ETNs). The value of these exchange-traded notes is linked to the share price of Freedom Holding Corp. listed on NASDAQ, providing customers with a simple and accessible way to participate in the company's market performance through everyday banking activity.
